K-Tron's Benefits (USA)
Your eligibility for K-Tron's benefits may vary according to your employment status and/or length of service. If you are seeking a position in another country where we do business, our local Human Resources department can provide you with a similar overview of the benefit plans for that country if you are invited for an interview.
We offer employees a choice of two plans provided by Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey; a Point-of-Service (POS) plan and a Direct Access (PPO). Your eligible dependents (spouse and/or children) may also be enrolled for medical coverage. Health benefits are effective the first of the month following your first day of employment.
K-Tron has three plans for employees to choose from provided by Delta Dental; Delta Premier, Delta Preferred and Delta Advantage. Your eligible dependents (spouse and/or children) may also be enrolled for dental coverage. Dental benefits are effective the first of the month following your first day of employment.
Group Life and Disability
We provide employees with group term life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment and short and long term disability. K-Tron pays 100% of the premiums for these benefits. Supplemental life is also available at a nominal cost.
You may elect to contribute a tax-deferred percentage of your salary, from 1% to 50% annually, to our 401(k) plan You direct the investment of the funds. There are over 25 funds to choose among - each with different characteristics and risk levels. You begin saving your own money the 1st of the month following 6 months of service. K-Tron will then match up to 6% of your pre-tax contributions dollar-for-dollar.
