2406 Vacuum Receivers

The 2406 vacuum receivers are ideal for applications when space is a premium and material volumes are minimal.

Designed with the small part plastic molder in mind, the 2406 is suited for vacuum conveying applications when material changes are frequent. The unit easily disassembles with removal of one quick-release clamp for material changes and cleaning.

Standard Features - All 2406 Vacuum Receiver Models

The 2406 A and B receivers’ standard material of construction is spun aluminum. A low-voltage cable system with quick-connect plugs allows the receivers to be connected to the Microprocessor Controller (MPC) or the PLC Central Controller without tools. In addition, low-voltage wiring generally does not require an electrician or conduit, allowing for a less expensive electrical installation.

  • 80 to 100 PSI dry compressed air required for the main air control valve
  • Maximum volume per draw is 1 pound, based on 35 pounds per cubic foot pellets
  • Perforated aluminum filter standard
  • Adjustable vacuum bleed off for precise draw time settings

Model 2406B-MPC

Polypropylene check ball maintains a vacuum tight seal so unit can be mounted on a hopper to maintain a volume of material. A proximity or rotary-type level control is required to maintain hopper material level.

2406 Vacuum Receiver Controls

For single receiver applications, we offer the LSR Controller. In loss-in-weight feeder refill applications, the LSR Controller seamlessly interfaces with Coperion K-Tron Feeder controls.
